The Vita Coco Company – known for the world’s largest coconut water brand, Vita Coco – is seeking for a Part-Time PWR Lift Sales Specialist to launch its newest brand PWR LIFT in NYC. The PWR Lift Sales Specialist will visit key accounts in their assigned territory and work with local distributors and distributor sales reps to increase the visibility, availability, and overall presence of our brands. The position requires a self-motivated, organized, energetic, and creative person. This position will report to the PWR lift Specialist and the employer of record will be Atrium Services Inc.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Achieve explosive revenue growth in assigned retail accounts
  • Physically build out both small and large displays using cases of product ranging from 10-35 pounds
  • Develop and maintain an organized list of key accounts in the territory
  • Develop plans within the territory to execute programming given by Vita Coco
  • Sell our brand to retailers in coordination with local distributors and brokers
  • Call on key decision makers bi-monthly basis to optimize in-store availability
  • Enhance the business by gaining new points of distribution
  • Proper shelf management positions for cold and ambient
  • Permanent and paper POS placements and display merchandising
  • Be an expert in all things Vita Coco
  • Visit our top stores to reinforce strong relationships
  • Seed product in existing accounts through merchandising and identify potential new accounts
  • Be willing to learn and participate in all aspects of Vita Coco

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Must have the ability to lift cases of product between 10-35 pounds
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle to travel
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Must have the ability to place product on overhead shelving
  • Must have the ability to travel between multiple accounts each day if needed
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Bring new ideas to the team and report on best practices
  • Ability to adapt to and work well in all environments
  • Innovative and creative in approaching accounts and expanding the business
  • Proficient MS Office Suite skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Availability: 20 - 30 Hours/week

At The Vita Coco Company, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to: skill set, experience, education, training, licensure and certifications, knowledge and abilities of the applicant, alignment with market data, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $17-19/hour. This range may vary for positions that will be performed outside of California, Colorado, Nevada, New York City, Westchester County, NY, Rhode Island, or Washington.
