As a Vita Coco Chemist / Associate Chemist, you will be responsible for performing all tasks associated with the analytical lab operations, including chemical analysis, equipment calibration/maintenance, OOS investigation, method validation and other related tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities:
• Perform chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, stability samples, and non-routine samples.
• Conduct sensory sessions and packaging integrity checks.
• Manage calibration, maintenance and qualification of laboratory equipment.
• Responsible for ISO 17025 accreditation processes.
• Responsible for procurement and monitoring of lab inventory, liaising with vendors for equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Draft, review and maintain standard operating procedures for laboratory equipment and processes.
• Assist in method validation and verification.
• Adhere to laboratory safety protocols, maintain high housekeeping standards, and uphold Good Laboratory Practices.
• Assist in driving continuous improvement activities in the laboratory.
• Provide scientific assistance to our partners across the globe.

Requirements:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science or related discipline.
• Prior working experience in a laboratory or food and beverage industry would be an advantage.
• Experienced in operating laboratory equipment such as GC, HPLC, ICPOES, Karl Fisher, and Carbon Isotope Analyzer would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO 17025 accreditation is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English is a must.
