The Quality Director will help drive the company’s quality performance by executing the company goals on all aspects of quality management, from supplier incoming materials to finished product received by the customers and all steps in between. Creating and implementing Continuous Improvement strategies in all aspects of Quality Management, reviewing all current quality control mandates and results, overviewing nutritional analysis compliance, statistical analysis of the data collected by the team at large, working with the consumer relations team will be the main responsibilities. Duties will also include developing detailed reports on Quality, monitoring production quality reports for domestic co-manufacturing, executing quality audits for all customer needs.
Day-to-day activities include, but are not limited to, analyzing and performing producting testing, reviewing and analyzing lab results received from company-owned or independent labs, monitoring product integrity, shelf life testing, providing reports on product quality to the senior management and domestic/global operations teams, assisting on product mock recalls and maintaining database on company’s lot performance.
This role will be remote and will shift to in-office at our NYC HQ once normal office activity resumes. The Quality Director will report to the Sr. Director of Global Quality and R&D.
